ISS-PBLプレゼンセッションの優勝グループ決定！
ISS-PBL最終章、プレゼンセッションの勝者は、グループ5に決まりました。
グループ5の起業テーマは、“Semi-Automated Exercise Tricycle ~New legs, New exercise for the elderly~ “です。
それでは早速、６人の審査員先生の講評を確認してみましょう（原文そのまま）
Interesting proposition, and problem was well articulated. However, it’s a relatively imitable product, so if you become successful, other firms will come in, and I don’t see product differentiation. Crowdfunding can be a great idea.
Excellent presentation. Product does need especial technology. I am not convinced that many elderly will run to buy it.
Very interesting product. How to deal with competitors (their will be many, I belive) will become an issue.
The idea of using three-wheeled vehicles, which promote exercise, for health support is interesting. I believe that combining them with sharing services could be effective. On the other hand, vital sensing does not play a major role, and I think it would be acceptable if it were integrated with other services.
Concept is fine
I wanted to hear US situation, too.
プラスの講評は、大まかに言って、次の通り。
・テーマ、コンセプト
・社会課題への着眼点
・製品
上記以外にも、クラウドファンディングやシェアリングサービスなどの時勢に乗ることで、資金調達や市場開拓といった、スタートアップの苦境をうまく乗り越えられる可能性も評価されました。
一方、製品が売れたら売れたで市場は直ぐレッドオーシャンとなり、他社との差別化やマーケティングが課題になるなど、先の先までを読んでの講評です。
先生、さすが。
特筆すべきは、グルーブ5は決して流暢な英語話者が登壇したわけではなかったこと。その点では、グループ1から4はOSU生や留学生プレゼンターによる弾丸イングリッシュが飛び交い迫力満点。スマホやメモを片手に発表するグループ5は、むしろ大人しい印象でした。
言葉のハンディを乗り越え、優勝したグループ5。プレゼンの内容が評価された結果です。相手国へ渡航した各メンバーが、言語の面でも引けを取らず、日本を代表する国際的なスタートアップ人材に成長する日が待ち遠しいです。
