In “Introduction to Inclusive Smart Society I,” students from diverse backgrounds deepened their discussions on a bulletin board by sharing knowledge and experiences based on lectures that addressed challenges in society, administration, and science and technology.
These discussions explored the concept of an “Inclusive Smart Society,” highlighting and providing an opportunity to recognize the pressing issues faced by contemporary society.
Additionally, it became evident that one’s thinking is significantly shaped by past experiences and that what feels self-evident to one person may not necessarily hold true in different cultural or community contexts.
As a graduate student, opportunities to discuss topics with individuals from the same field have increased.
In this setting, the experience of sharing knowledge and ideas with people from diverse backgrounds on the interdisciplinary theme of an inclusive smart society was highly stimulating.
This experience was also immensely valuable as training to approach issues from multiple perspectives.
