I truly feel that this program has helped me gain a deeper understanding of startups.
I joined the program out of curiosity, thinking it “sounded interesting,” but through the lectures, I gained a wealth of knowledge about the sectors driving Japan’s growth—such as the impact startups have on society and the meticulous processes involved in turning ideas into reality. Furthermore, as I applied what I learned to developing and presenting a business plan as part of a team, I not only deepened my understanding of startups but also experienced firsthand the practical challenges involved.
Furthermore, interacting with students from overseas was an incredibly valuable experience. I was greatly inspired by their attitude of openly sharing their opinions and engaging in deep discussions. After the presentations, some even said, “Let’s meet up if you come to Ohaio,” and the warm connections that formed beyond the scope of the program are another reason why I’m glad I participated.
