ISS Program kickoff meeting
On September 28, 2023, we held the kickoff meeting for the ISS program at the TSUKUBA International Congress Center. From Ohio State University, six representatives attended, including Dr. David Tomasko (Associate Dean for Academic Programs, The College of Engineering). From the University of Tsukuba, 15 members attended, including Dr. Mitsuyasu Kato (Vice President and Executive Director for Education) and Dr. Takashi Matsushima(Program Leader).
The meeting began with a greeting from Vice President Kato, followed by an overview of the project from Program Leader Matsushima. Subsequently, discussions were held on the course content, handling of internships, and the flow of the first year. It was confirmed that we would continue to cooperate to build this educational program.
