The ISS Program is sending students to The Ohio State University (OSU) in March 2026.
This is a great opportunity to interact directly with OSU students. We hope to see many applications!

[What You’ll Do at OSU]
Activities that support the ISS Program’s goal of developing global startup talent capable of creating an inclusive smart society.
Example Activities:
- Smart Columbus tour
- Visit to the eSports Arena
- Visit to StarLab
- Exchange with OSU students studying Japanese
[Travel Support]
- Round-trip airfare
- JASSO scholarship (110,000 yen)
JASSO Requirements:
- Japanese nationals or permanent residents
- GPA 2.30 or higher (on a 3.00 scale) from the previous year
[Who Can Apply] Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at UT who meet the JASSO requirements
[Number of Spots] Approx. 10
[How to Apply] Submit the following documents to the address below:
- A one-page (A4) statement explaining your motivation and what you want to do at OSU
- Proof of English ability (e.g., TOEFL score)
