The first ISS Online Summer Festival was held!
The ISS Online Summer Festival was held from July 27 to 29, 2024.
Students, faculty, and staff from The Ohio State University and the University of Tsukuba were invited, and a total of more than 160 people participated over the three days.
Considering the time difference between Japan and Ohio, the Festival used the online tool “Remo.” Four events were held in parallel, allowing students from both universities to interact synchronously and asynchronously.

The first ISS Summer Festival was a unique event that provided an opportunity for cultural and academic exchange via the Internet.
We are looking for even more innovative and interactive forms of interaction for next year’s Summer Festival.
