Participating in the ISS program was a great learning experience for me since I had not had many opportunities to use English in my daily life before. During the program, I attended lectures and toured Tokyo with OSU students. The Tokyo tour day was particularly memorable for me because I had the chance to experience various activities with them while supporting the tour, such as explaining the train system, buying lunch, and visiting shrines.
I was glad to hear many students say they want to study at the University of Tsukuba after experiencing this program, and it made me proud to be a student here. Meeting peers who share my interest in health education and are working hard abroad has given me great motivation for my future research. I am deeply grateful to the professors who provided me with this valuable experience.
