Taking this ISSI course, my description of the inclusive smart society evolved.
Before taking this class, I focused only on technologies. However, taking this course, I recognized the importance of PEOPLE in the inclusive smart society. Because even the technologies are introduced, people have to decide on how to use it or what is the rule to use it. Even when introducing new useful technologies, people need to have communication.
Also, the word from Dr. Miyauchi that we tend to have communication with people who can talk or have voice. Communication plays really important role for the inclusion. However, there are people who can’t raise their voices maybe because of their circumstances and this would be a very big obstacle when we want to create the inclusive smart society.
This course provided me new definition and perspective of the inclusive smart society.
